Had to drop by the gallery last minute to attend to something but still manage to keep my lunch with B4.
I always value good conversations.
(Speaking of which, I came across this quote a long time ago and had a good laugh..but recently saw it on Twitter again, and had another good laugh so here’s to good conversations.)

Finally went to Science Centre’s dino exhibit today with B4 and Mich.
If you’re thinking of going…don’t. Don’t believe the media. It’s zero interactivity (unless you count the colouring corners for the kids, the sand-digging pit for the kids or the kids only dino ride at $5 or something or the chops you get to stamp on some of the dinos you ‘found’)..
Also it’s a sadly small exhibit with information which only has about 4 lines each, having 3 lines describing how the dino looks like when the bloody huge model is moving it’s head and tail like it’s having a bad case of arthristis. I can see for myself, thanks.
Having said that, because I am a sucker for dinos I still enjoyed looking at the models and the 3 of us contented ourselves to snatching the chops away from kids at different stations to stamp on the back of our feedback forms.
And I hope it’s not weird I feel good and at home to be walking around the dinos and hoping they are real. That’ll be wicked.

My favourite sandals broke on me and I walked around NTUC and half a floor of JP drawing stares along my wake.
I like how carefree walking barefooted felt and that I didn’t care about the weird stares!
Footwears should be outlawed.

Caught Safe House in the cinemas and went to this loverly Italian place for dinner!
Look at the fans! It’s so adorable, I want to take it home. Also, throughout the night, I might have mentioned I also wanted to take home the chairs, the tables and the beer glasses over there.
Also, the 4 of us had a 21” pizza. That is all.

I went to Joe Hill’s talk at the Singapore Arts Museum with my sister the next day I went to visit his artworks at Bugis and it was quite a fun one.
It was a very informal talk, where he encourages us to stop him anytime and ask questions and volunteers to go up and help draw a sample artwork. Very nice and friendly guy..and most importantly, enthusiastic about what he does.
”..I like to draw scenes and objects instead of humans so that people can actually stand on my works and interact with them and that is what I want..”
And he went on to say he wants it to be about the art and not about him.
Which deterred me to approach him for an autograph hahaha
